Abstract: In the transformation and reconstruction of urban governance by using technology, various governance practices and experiences have been formed in different parts of China, which are presented in different governance narratives. The typical and representative cases of the digital transformation of urban governance include: Beijing's urban grid management and "responding to complaints ", Shanghai's" one network management "and" one network management "reform, Guangdong Province's" digital government "construction, Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province's" urban brain "practice. Based on interface theory tries to put forward a new framework to understand the city governance digital transformation, its core is considered by citizens and policymakers oriented double nested governance construction interface, the demand for citizens to realize, multi-layer government, the effective integration between different government departments, eventually achieve "double interface, multiple integration, integration of supply and demand" governance objectives. The construction of integrated governance interface is possible because of the transformation and development of governance concepts and values, cognition and emotion, data and algorithms, so as to make urban governance more intelligent and make citizens' lives better, which is the ultimate pursuit of the digital transformation of urban governance.
