Abstract: The development of evidence-based decision-making in American government is relatively mature, which has accumulated a lot of experience and formed a unique model. By analyzing the official documents, legal provisions and practical projects of evidence-based decision-making of the federal government of the United States, this paper discusses the evolution path and main characteristics of its evidence-based decision-making framework, introduces the content and implementation of its legislation, illustrates the practice promotion in different policy fields with examples, and analyzes its implication to China.
